The 2013 Charleston, SC Natural Hair Expo

Hello Beautiful People!

It's me, Eugenia, and I am back with the inside scoop and my honest review of the recent Charleston, SC Natural Hair Expo! I traveled with the click (i.e. Natural Girls Rock lol) down to good ole Charleston, SC all the way from Atlanta, GA.

Now, if you've never been to Charleston before it is B-E-A UTIFUL! It's got this classic old town charm, right on the water so the weather (and the fresh seafood) is the bomb.com. Upon arriving, we checked into our hotel and had dinner at The Wreckfish, a seafood joint in North Charleston with probably the BEST customer service, shrimp, mac n' cheese, and the cutest waiters! :)

The Natural Hair Expo was a sight to be seen! There were several kinds of vendors with awesome goods for sale including: natural hair apparel, earrings, natural hair care products, event planning services, vegan candles, jewelry galore, and some of the more commercially branded hair products!

A highlight of the event was the vlogger panel including some of your favorite YouTube natural hair icons like BlackOnyx77, MsVaughnTV, MeechyMonroe, CharyJay and TheMUAAlex!

Like almost every hair expo, there was an awesome after party (All-White Party) to unwind after the days events. There were drinks flowing, naturals jigging, and a DJ who spun hit after hit after hit.

Overall the Charleston, SC Natural Hair Expo was the go to event of the year thus far! Pros: Having a centralized location to take part in the best of the natural hair care industry, the after party with the swag bags of FULL SIZED Karen's Body Beautiful products, and the welcoming atmosphere. Cons: The parking was bananas! I can only expect that next year this issue will be rectified. Other than that, what a successful and beautifully orchestrated event! A HUUUUGE kudos goes to Ebbi (MrsNaturallyEJHALO on YouTube!) she made this event one to look forward to! I cannot wait for 2014 to attend the next Charleston, SC Natural Hair Expo!
