DIY: Michael Jackson Dress Shirt Four Ways!

Hello Lovely Ones!

I'm here with a super cute and Michael Jackson inspired DIY! In honor of the King of Pop's birthday (August 29th), I crafted a YouTube video transforming a staple MJ blue collared shirt into four cute and easy styles!

The shirt used in this video was purchased from a local Salvation Army for four dollars! Not too shabby!

Protective Styling: Mini-Twists

We love our natural hair! We color it, trim it up, twist it up, pin it up. If you think about it, we do a lot of man-handling to our tresses! In order to make sure we give our hair a break, we perform some protective styling! If you’re new to natural hair you’re probably wondering: what the heck is protective styling?!

Protective styling is a styling option for transitioners and naturals alike. Anything from wigs, braids (with or without extensions), sew-ins, all the way to the aforementioned MINI-TWISTS!
